Extending the right to buy is economically illiterate and morally wrong | via @Telegraph

There is little I can add to this excellent, factual article apart from a major niggle I have about the entire situation. And that is while sensible and reasonable people country-wide are outraged over this government lunacy, the precedent of the government selling off assets that do not belong to it, has been quietly implemented. Shouldn’t the legal aspects of this be receiving headline attention? Although going on our governments’ track record, illegality is a small issue. They will just pass a law retroactively to make it legal. Hang onto your purse. There are pickpockets working in this vicinity.
