Postal staff urged to find out if they were included on blacklist http://gu.com/p/47peb/stw
There are strong suspicions that police and security services had a hand in compiling the blacklist, which not only targeted construction workers but environmentalists.
The government is constantly vilifying the unemployed – while it could be the case that police and security services were very active in keeping highly skilled and experienced men out of work.
So on one hand one arm of the state keeps you out of work, while another arm of the state blames you for being unemployed.
If the government genuinely wishes to remove obstacles to work perhaps a government inquiry into the blacklisting activities of their own police and security services is in order?
